NKD is a Finnish knife company well known for producing high quality blade blanks and finished knives.
The NKD Wharncliffe 80 comes with a sheepsfoot blade profile. The blade is very well suited for all rough carving and cutting tasks. With its fine point, the blade is able to handle precise cuts, making pulling cuts particularly easy.

Grind- Flat
Tang hole diameters- 2x 4.7mm(0.185") these will fit our 1/4" Corby Bolts as well as the slotted NKD stainless handle fasteners. 1x 6.5mm(1/4").

Sandvik 14C28N® is mainly recommended for knife applications which put very high demands on edge sharpness, edge stability and corrosion resistance.
Condition- These blades are ground, heat treated, sharpened and etched with the NKD logo. Hardened to 58-59 HRC.
History- The history of the Wharncliffe style blade can actually be traced back to a specific gentleman of the 19th century—Colonel James Archibald Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie—the first Lord Wharncliffe of England.
Sheath sold separately. Uses the same sheath as the NKD Stoat blade.
