About:

Insta-Cure™ thin has a water-like viscosity that wicks deep into joints by capillary action and cures in a matter of a few seconds. Surfaces to be bonded must be tight fitting and should be held together while you apply the CA around the edges of the seam.  Ideal for deep penetrating into wood, mammoth ivory or molar and other similar materials where you need a thin glue to penetrate deep and improve the strength and finish of your materials.

Insta-Cure+™ medium is a higher viscosity thickness CA for loose fitting joints in which the adhesive must bridge gaps. Normally, the thicker CA is applied to one surface and then the parts are held tightly together for about 5 to 15 seconds. To prevent premature curing, don’t spread the glue into a thin film. Lay down a serpentine bead with about 1" separations on one surface, then assemble the parts, letting the pressure spread the CA out.  This is a good all purpose CA glue choice.

Maxi-Cure™ thick CA is the best CA for most plastics and composites.  MAXI-CURE™ bonds fiberglass, hardwood, metal and rubber better than any other hobby adhesive.  This can be used for glueing liners and spacer materials together for knife handles.  In our tests, the Maxi-Cure CA glue proves to be stronger than the actual liner materials it is bonding. Apply the Maxi-Cure in a bead on one surface and then press it together with the other surface to spread the glue.  Slow cure epoxies like Blade Pro are still recommended for gluing full scales to knife handles.

IC-2000™ black is a toughened cyanoacrylate that forms superior shock resistant bonds on non-porous surfaces. The black colored CA has added flexibility for the bonding of metals, fiberglass, rubber, carbon-fiber, wood and other advanced materials.  This works well for filling in gaps in stabilized wood, mammoth ivory or molar or other natural materials.  The flexibility means it will not crack if the material expands or contracts due to temp and moisture.
