NKD is a Finnish knife company well known for producing high quality blade blanks and finished knives.
The Stoat 100 can be used as a tactical, an EDC or a luxury steak knife blade. You have some options with this NKD Stoat 100 knife blade. The profile with an incfluence from the japanese Kwaiken knife.

Tang hole diameters- 3x 4.7mm(0.185") these will fit our 1/4" Corby Bolts as well as the slotted NKD stainless handle fasteners. 2x 10.1mm(0.398").
Steel Type- Stainless Sandvik 12C27
Condition- These blades are ground, heat treated, sharpened and etched with the NKD logo. Hardened to 57 HRC.
History- The Kwaiken style knife is a blade design that originated in ancient Japan and was used by Samurai for close hand to hand combat and every day use. The Kwaiken was used in indoor combat where larger Katana and Wakizashi style blades were not convenient to use. The word Kwaiken means "chest knife" or "bossom knife" in Japanese. It was also a commonly carried knife in Japan by those who were not members of the Samurai class as they were not permitted to carry swords.
